Front of Office Cleaning

When cleaning, it is recommended you start with office areas that are more visible. Starting with the reception and other high volume office areas you should:

  • Empty and replace rubbish and bins
  • Dust all surfaces
  • Vacuum carpets, floors and other upholstery
  • Wipe down all hard services with a damp cloth and suitable detergent
  • Mop hard floors
  • Ensure all areas are arranged in a tidy fashion

Toilets and Bathrooms
Bathrooms and toilet areas can harbour bacteria and germs. When cleaning this area of your office it is important to use the correct detergents with disinfectant.

  • Empty and replace rubbish and bins
  • Check and replace toilet paper, soap and hand towels
  • Dust all surfaces
  • Clean mirrors
  • Clean toilets and urinals with disinfectant
  • Clean and sanitize basins
  • Mop floors with disinfectant

Other Areas
Other areas in the office should also be cleaned on a regular basis. All floors should be cleaned with a mop and carpets vacuumed on a regular basis. It is important to clean windows at least once a week with the correct material and tools in order to prevent grime build up.

No two offices are the same and this cleaning checklist should be customised to suit your office cleaning requirements. It is recommended that you prioritise cleaning tasks on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as required.
